Article 1: Name, status, languages and locations of the association
Name
The name of the association shall be “THE DREAM TEAM KILIMANJARO” abbreviated as DTEKI and hereafter referred to as “association”.
Status
The association shall be a non partisan, not for profit, non-governmental organization.
Languages
The working languages for the organization shall be Swahili and English
Locations
The headquarters of the association shall be in. Kilimanjaro Marangu Tanzania
The activities of the association shall be conducted in Tanzania and/or other places as may be determined by the constitution and as the law of Tanzania The Dream Team Kilimanjaro.
Article 2: Aims, objectives and functions
2.1 Aims and Objectives
To reduce new HIV infection, stigma and care for those affected
To support the Tanzania government’s and global community mission in limiting the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities.
To reduce the increasing rate of street children in Tanzania and to encourage behaviour change and life skills practices and to train future leaders in global health and development.
To promote greenish for good environment
2.2 Functions
Playing a role of reducing the impact of HIV/AIDS by contributing part of our benefits, fundraising and donation to the organizations or community groups which are formed with a goal of limiting the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities.
Fundraise so as to implement the programs and activities of the club 0'8.
Educate the community about the impacts of street children and encourage to play a great role in reducing the increasing number of street children
Involve in planting trees and educate the community about the side effects of environmental pollution by households or industries.
Article 3: Membership
3.1 Categories of Membership
The club shall have two categories of membership
Registered members and b) Non-registered members
3.1.1 Registered members
Recognized members that affirm to the constitution shall be termed “Registered members”.
3.1.2 Non-Registered members
People who may choose to attend the club activities without being registered shall be termed “Non-Registered members”.
3.2 Application and dues
All application for membership shall be addressed to Marangu Trealls of the club. Applicants shall be recognized as members of the club whereupon they will be notified of their acceptance.
All registered members shall pay membership dues as shall be determined by the executive committee and approved by the annual general assembly.
3.3 Suspension and expulsion
Membership to the constitution shall terminate upon:
Receiving of a written voluntary resignation notice from a member
Exceeding 35 years for founder members and national associate and national associate members.
Keeping membership dues for more than 3 years in arrears.
Expulsion
The executive committee may in its discretion, suspend a member for the good of association. Such member shall be given notice of such action, mailed to the member last known address as referenced in the association’s current membership records.
The suspended member shall upon request delivered to the Executive Committee within thirty (30) days of the date of notice request be given hearing before the executive committee to show cause why it is unfair to suspend.
The determination of whether or not to expel shall be made at the General Assembly in its sole discretion and such de
decision shall be final.
Article 4: Organization and Structure
Organs
The associations will have the following organs
The general Assembly
The Executive Committee
The General Assembly
The executive committee will attend the general meeting and they will be entitled to vote.
The general secretary of the clubs shall preside over the general assembly, in his/her absence, the vice general secretary will take the role. In absence of both office bearers, any member shall be elected to chair the assembly.
The general will be called once a year.
Functions of the general assembly
To determine the general activities of the club
To receive and consider reports of the activities of the clubs and take appropriate actions
To receive and discuss audited accounts of the preceding year
To discuss and approve plans and budgets of the clubs for the next fiscal year
To elect the office barriers
To set rules and terms governing members
To perform any other such duties in conformity with this constitution
Executives
There shall be the executive committee of the club that shall consist of:
Chairperson
Vice chairperson
Secretary General
Deputy Secretary General
Treasurer
Six executive committee members
All the above shall be elected at respective club meetings and they will hold office for the period of one year
The executive committee will meet at least once a year
Functions of executive committee
It shall be responsible for the day to day running of the clubs
It shall be an organ that arranges for the general assembly of the club
It may recruit officers to the club as it deems fit and set their remuneration
It shall control the administration and finances of the club
It shall suspend any office bearer or member(s) whose actions be considered to affect the moral tone or interests of the association pending the Decision of the General Assembly
Article 5: Duties of office bearers
5.1 General Secretary
Shall preside over general assembly
Subject to this constitution, general secretary shall supervise the management of the club with full power and authority
Shall be chief spokesperson of the club
Shall perform any such duties incident to hid/her office
Deputy general secretary
Shall in general assist the General Secretary and to act in that capacity in his/her absence
The Chairperson
Shall preside over club meetings, executive committee meetings and functions of the club
Subject to this constitution, the chair person shall supervise the management of the association with full power and authority to find the association by his/her acts and deeds
Shall be the chief spokesperson of the club
Shall perform any other duties incident to his/her office.

Vice Chairperson
Shall in general assist the chairperson and act in that capacity in his/her absence
Secretary
She/he is the secretary to the association who shall issue correspondence and notice of meetings, prepare agendas, record and keep the minutes and other relevant documents of the club.
Shall control the day to day business and affairs of the association
Shall prepare an annual report of the activities of the club for presentation to the Executive Committee and annual general assembly
Shall prepare and present the annual calendar of the club to the General Assembly.
The Deputy Secretary
Shall in general assist the secretary and to act in that capacity in her/his absence
Treasurer
Shall have charge of supervision and responsibility for funds, securities,  receipts, and disbursement of the funds
Shall receive and give receipts for monies due payable to the club
Shall cause the monies and other valuable effects of the association be be deposited and to the credit of the club in such banks or trust companies or other depositories as the Executive Committee shall select or shall be selected by any officers or agents authorized to do by the Executive Committee in accordance with this constitution
Shall cause the fund of the club to the to be disbursed by cheques or draft with such signatures as shall be authorized by the executive committee and cause to be taken and prescribe proper voucher for all monies disbursed
Shall render to the chairperson and the executive committee whenever requested a statement of the financial condition of the association
Shall keep the books of the clubs’ accounts of all business and transaction of the association
Shall give reports on the clubs’ accounts at the executive committee meeting and the annual general assembly
Shall see that the club has source of fund and means of fundraising
Article 6: Quorum and Decisions
6.1 Quorum
The quorum of all meetings of all organs of the club shall be simple majority (more then half) of its members
6.2 Decisions
All decisions of organs shall be simple majority (more than half) of those present and voting unless stated otherwise in this constitution
Article 7: Finance
Source of funding
Source of funding for the club shall be:
Members’ entrance fees and annual subscriptions
Voluntary contribution from members and supporters
Donation from international organizations and donor agencies
Projects and services lawfully undertaken by the club
Financial Management
All monies received by and on behalf of the association shall be paid into the account(s) not more than 7 days of the receipt thereof
The expenditure of the association shall be made according to rules and regulation laid down by the Executive Committee.
The signatories of the association’s account(s) shall be either the Chairperson or the Treasurer.
Article 8: Miscellaneous provisions
Dissolution
The decision to dissolve the can only be taken by the Annual General Assembly and at two-third (2/3) of votes of its members
Upon dissolution assets and liabilities of club shall be allocated as per the resolution of the Executive Committee
Article 9: Amendments to the constitution
Amendments to this constitution shall be proposed in writing by any member provided the proposed shall reach the Secretary General at least two months before the session of the General Assembly
Proposal for amendment(s) together with the comments of the Executive Committee shall be circulated to members not less than one month before the session of the General Assembly that shall consider themAmendments to this constition shall be made by the General Assembly by the vote of two/third (2/3) of those present and voting and shall come to effect on adoption.
